Q.What is CloudWatch And How it is used?
Ans:- Amazon CloudWatch monitors your Amazon Web Services (AWS) resources and the applications you run on AWS in real time. You can use CloudWatch to collect and track metrics, which are variables you can measure for your resources and applications. With CloudWatch, you gain system-wide visibility into resource utilization, application performance, and operational health.

Amazon CloudWatch is a monitoring and observability service built for DevOps engineers, developers, site reliability engineers (SREs), and IT managers. CloudWatch provides you with data and actionable insights to monitor your applications, respond to system-wide performance changes, optimize resource utilization, and get a unified view of operational health.
CloudWatch collects monitoring and operational data in the form of logs, metrics, and events, providing you with a unified view of AWS resources, applications, and services that run on AWS and on-premises servers. You can use CloudWatch to detect anomalous behavior in your environments, set alarms, visualize logs and metrics side by side, take automated actions, troubleshoot issues, and discover insights to keep your applications running smoothly.
AWS CloudWatch Services are:-
1) Infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting:- Monitor key metrics and logs, visualize your application and infrastructure stack, create alarms, and correlate metrics and logs to understand and resolve root cause of performance issues in Your AWS resources.

2) Mean-time-to-resolution improvement:-
CloudWatch helps you correlate, visualize, and analyze metrics and logs, so you can act quickly to resolve issues, and combine them with trace data from AWS X-Ray for end-to-end
observability.
3) Application monitoring:-
Monitor your applications that run on AWS (on Amazon EC2, containers, and serverless) or on-
premises.
4) Log analytics:-
Explore, analyze, and visualize your logs to address operational issues and improve applications performance. You can perform queries to help you quickly and effectively respond to operational issues.
5. AWS SNS(Simple Notification Services):- Getting Alerts And Showing The Notification on the Dashboard.
  SNS Notification Types:-
  * Email Type
  * Text Message
  * Http MSg
6. AWS AUTOSCALLING:- If The Particular Alarms Are Occur Repeatedly The Perform The Same Action To That Alarm.
7. AWS CLOUDTRAIL:- LOGS To Check Who Is Doing What?
8. AWS IAM(Identity And Access Management):- Allocate/Provide Access To The Authenticate(Right) People.

AWS CLOUDWATCH ACTIVITIES:-
1. Collect :- Metrics And Logs From AWS Resources.
2. Monitor :- Provide Visualize Dashboard.
3. Act :- Automated response To Operational Events.
4. Analysis:- Real Time Analysis.

This are the form of monitoring the logs as per the user convenience.
We can set the Alarm policy in time, Days, Units Basis.
We able to view our data in following form:-
1.Namespace :- Monitoring The Whole ComPonents Of The Machine Either Its a Pre-Defined Configuration Or Extended Configuration.
2.Metrics :- A set Of Instruction To Perform When Alarms/Alerts Are Occur.
3.Dimension:- Distinguish Seperately Of Alerts In A Tabular Form.

METRICS OPERATION :-
Data Getting Types In Various Time form are :-
1. 3 HRs:-     It Will Show You a Every Second Of Utilization.
2. 15 Days:-   It WWll Show You Every 1 Min Of Utilization.
3. 63 Days:-   It Will Show You Every 5 Min Of Utilization.
4. 15 Months:- It Will Show You Every 1 Hour Of Utilization.
(Note:- THE WHOLE PROCESS IS BYDEFAULT CONFIGURE. JUST WE HAVE TO SET THE TIME TO RETRIEVE THE LOGS.)
